Our Team

Elya Kinsey, CPA

President of DiLorenzo & Kinsey, CPAs

Elya holds a CPA license in Colorado and New York. Elya previously worked for KPMG, a Big 4 accounting firm, assisting with Research & Development credits and tax consulting for Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, her experience includes tax planning, tax preparation, business consulting, and bookkeeping for a variety of industries.

Elya has prepared thousands of individual and business tax returns ranging from Corporations, S Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Partnerships, and Trust returns. She has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Denver and a Master’s of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia.

Outside of the office, Elya enjoys spending time with her spouse, Eric Kinsey, her rambunctious three year old daughter, Juliette, and her dog, Dewey the Yorkie. She also is an active member of the Rotary Club of Highlands Ranch.

Eric Kinsey, JD, MBA

Co-Owner

Eric was an Assistant Vice President for Wilmington Trust in New York City where he was responsible for providing wealth management services for high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs, business owners, and foundations and endowments. He is passionate about K-12 education and served as a board member of Bronx Lighthouse Charter School while in NYC. Previously, he was a Summer Associate in Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs.

He has a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance from the University of Northern Colorado. He has a Colorado insurance producer license in Life, Accident and Health.

Neil DiLorenzo, CPA

Consultant

Neil DiLorenzo has over 40 years of tax and accounting experience. His background includes serving in the US Air Force as an accountant and real estate specialist. Neil’s experience in public accounting started with an international accounting firm working in both financial and investigative audits of companies in various industries along with experience in the taxation department. Neil’s experience includes working as a tax manager for a large firm in Wyoming, and later as a tax partner with two firms in the Denver area. Neil formed his firm Neil D. DiLorenzo, CPA P.C. in 1991 working with both local, and international clients in both the financial audit and tax area. He and Elya teamed up together to form DiLorenzo & Kinsey, CPAs, PC near the end of 2020. He is now semi-retired and helps out the team with various consulting projects. We greatly value his expertise!

In his spare time, Neil enjoys spending time with his family and traveling to Mexico. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Highlands Ranch.
